Adoption donations help to offset the costs associated with routine vetting, day-to-day care, behavior evaluations/training, and unforeseen medical expenses. All animals in the care of One Love Animal Rescue Group are up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm tested (if over 6 months of age), and started on monthly heartworm and flea & tick preventatives. Our adoption donations are tax-deductible, as we are a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, non-profit organization. Please consult your tax professional for additional information.

No, we do not DNA test our adoptable animals. DNA testing is costly, time consuming, and is often not indicative of behavior traits of mixed breeds. Instead, we rely on our veterinary partners to help us identify likely breed(s), but at the end of the day it’s important to remember that this is just an educated guess and doesn’t make an animal any less desirable.
